Who is Henry Spencer?
Henry L. Spencer is a character from the tv show "Psych" and is played by the actor Corbin Bernsen. The character was created by Steve Franks and Andy Berman.
Henry is a retired police officer, who trained his son, Shawn, from a young age on to become a cop one day, too. Unfortunately Shawn decided against it. After dozens of different jobs he gets work as a psychic for the Santa Barbara police department and opens his own business as private investigator together with his best friend Gus. Henry is everything else than happy about that decision and expresses that clearly towards his son. But he is secretly proud of him, too and keeps newspapers articles about Shawns successes. Before Shawn became a psychic (though he only pretends to be) he and his father have been estranged for some time. He didn't even knew that Henry has moved back to Santa Barbara from Florida. Nowadays their relationship got better and Shawn asks for his fathers help from time to time.
Henry has been divorced from his wife Madeleine in 1992. Shawn is their only child. Henry also has a young brother called Jack, but he is estranged from him. For more informations please visit the official site or Wikipedia.

Why is the fanlisting called "Discipline"?
The idea for the title came from an interview with Corbin Bernsen, where he described his character as: "a guy who's very, very disciplined. He always has been disciplined. He believes order is what gets you through the day..." (Source). And also it fits perfectly to Henry, right?
